For the best experience, we recommend having your Xero integration set as below for your tax rate sync behaviour and direction:
Xero Resource: Tax Rates "Toggled on"
Sync Direction: "StayOnHire receives"
StayOnHire Edibility: "Cannot be edited"

A simple overview of how Xero tax rates will look in your business:
StayOnHire imports tax rates from your Xero account
Tax Rates can be set on newly drafted invoices
Invoices sent from StayOnHire will have tax rates mapped for Xero to receive
As detailed in your integration setup, tax rates are locked to 'StayOnHire receives' and 'Cannot be edited':
With this in mind, navigate to Settings > Accounting and click the 'Manage Tax Rates' option:
Tax Rates imported from Xero should fill this table as pictured below.
If you've recently added a new tax rate in Xero and would like to see it in your StayOnHire account, click the sync icon in the top right hand side of the page:
StayOnHire does not send tax rates to Xero in any circumstance or configuration.
Xero is your source of truth for accounting-related data like tax rates.
Our gaol is to help your scheduling team execute jobs, and have your billing team use this integration to send approved invoices to Xero, in order to remove the manual data entry and potential for human-error.
